With that, let’s get to the 5 best-selling cabinet door styles in the Deslaurier catalogue!
1. Brookfield
The quintessential shaker-style door, the Brookfield will never go out of fashion. It’s our gold-star, first-place, number-one bestseller!
In fact, it was so popular in 2022 that it accounted for 57.6% of all sales! Talk about a fan-favourite.
The Brookfield is a 5-piece stile and rail construction door with a ¼” panel insert. The Brookfield stiles and rails are 2 ¼” wide for both doors and drawers. The edge profile is a clean-cut 90-degree angle.
The Brookfield door style is available in birch, maple, cherry, oak, rustic alder, walnut, rift-cut white oak and painted MDF.

2. Northfield
The Northfield door style is a cousin of the Brookfield door. The Northfield is also constructed as a 5-piece product with a ¼” panel insert and 2 ¼”-wide stiles and rails.
The difference is that Northfield adds a little more flair than Brookfield. The doors and drawers feature an interior edge with a small, integrated cove moulding.
Northfield doors comprise 24.2% of Deslaurier door sales. That means the top two door styles in this article account for over 80% of all Deslaurier projects!
The Northfield door style is available in birch, cherry, maple, oak, rustic alder, walnut, rift-cut white oak and painted MDF.

3. Crestfield
Coming in third in 2022 was the Crestfield shaker door.
The Crestfield door is another 5-piece stile and rail construction door with a ¼” panel insert. What sets the Crestfield style apart is its intricate rounded exterior edge profile and nuanced tiered interior edge.
Deslaurier’s Crestfield door style is available in birch, cherry, maple, oak, rustic alder, walnut, rift-cut white oak and painted MDF.
4. Urban
Bringing some modern flair to our best-sellers list is the Urban.
The Urban is a slab (flat) door with solid wood edging and is Deslaurier's most prominent 1-piece door style.
All of our 1-piece slab door styles come in our natural wood and MDF materials, as well as thermofoil, textured melamine, PET, acrylic, and HPL (high-pressure laminate).

5. Lichfield
The Lichfield is the final member of our best-sellers list.
The Lichfield door is a thin 5-piece shaker-style cabinet door style with mitred construction and a ¼" panel insert. The exterior frame profile is 1", however, the interior is 2 ¼" to accept cabinet hardware.
The Lichfield’s slim outer frame adds a sleek and modern aesthetic to the timeless transitional shaker door style.
Deslaurier's design expert Darien Wilson shares her thoughts on the Lichfield door:
The Litchfield door is essentially used as a “shaker” style kitchen with a more Contemporary flair. That’s the main reason why I choose it. It’s not a slab door, it’s not a standard, basic-looking wider rail, it’s a lot like a picture frame. - Darien Wilson
Lichfield doors are available in birch, cherry, maple, oak, rustic alder, walnut, rift-cut white oak and painted MDF.
